Coming Soon...

Whoa, that totally sounded like an opening for a pregnancy announcement! As I would love to add more beautiful people to the population of the world(considering I am really good at that whole thing and conceiving comes too easily to us Smiths), that is not what this post is about. Coming soon...the end of my blog hiatus!
Lots of things have happened. Blogger was being lame on me so I gave up on the blog thing for a while, and I had so much to blog at the time. Then the legs to our desk were about to collapse, so our computer is hooked up to our TV, which doesn't make Internet access and computer usage all that easy or enjoyable(I am currently typing this on the living room floor and my legs are falling asleep). Now I am overwhelmed with things to blog about, so here is a little preview: We are buying a house(that is being built), we went to Colorado and had a nice week long visit with family(JM fixed el computero issues), I turned 26, in Colorado(haven't done that before), Duncan turned five(also another first), my house has continued to be a disaster(I think it is going to eat me alive), Mark had a kidney stone(#2 since we got married, this doesn't count as a birth in the family), one of my photos is going to be in the Awkward Family Photos book! (many people wouldn't be excited, but I thinks it's great) we have registered Duncan for kindergarten(sniff sniff), my dad joined facebook(seriously, and he hasn't lost his mind or anything!) and I am sure there are other things that are to come in future blogs. Please stay tuned, this will come this week, slowly, but surely. Ummm, PS-no English teacher comments allowed. I know this is one big grammatical mess and I don't care!!

It's nice to see you blogging again.

Will Duncan be doing half-day or full-day kindergarten? Our local school district has full-day kindergarten and I wasn't sure how Laurel would take to it since she hadn't gone to preschool, but she settled right in. I can't get over how little the kindergarteners are when I see them in the cafeteria now.
