A little update...

So, as most of you know, my husband works full time and has an apprenticeship at Berg Mortuary on the weekends. That does not leave very much time for us to spend together. I tell him that he is the man that sleeps in my bed. Most of my time spent with him, he is sleeping, haha. I spend everyday, the majority of the day, with just me and the kids. I love them very much and I am incredibly grateful that my husband has chosen to work and do school full time and now his apprenticeship on top of working full time so that I can stay home with the kids and raise them. I have always felt that is best and most important for children. I just wish I could have a break every now and again. Being pregnant with number 4 and trying to do so much gets so wearing. I would love some real quality time with my husband to help us love and appreciate each other more. I would love it if Mother's Day was really a day off!! That would rock. I am definitely looking forward to our trip to Colorado next week!!!

A picture I just had to post, hehe.

Saturday I got to watch my nephew, Caleb, along with all of my kids. He is a very cute boy, but also a very mischievous boy!! Every time I wasn't watching he was into something else, haha. Not to mention he doesn't like to potty at my house to he chose to go in his underwear a couple times, haha. He had a lot of fun with the boys. He and Liam work well together. They get into things and make messes and Duncan tattles on them. I still have a lot of cleaning and picking up to do from that day, but my boys really miss their sweet cousin. So, all in all they had a great day and that is what really matters.

Liam worn out from house trashing with Caleb.

Sunday, Mark was called into the mortuary. I had to get everyone ready and walk to church(which is just down the street a bit) because Mark had to take the car. Church was a bit overwhelming, but there were some nice people who did what they could to help out. I appreciated every little bit of help, even if it was just entertaining the Goo for a bit(who managed successfully to dump Goldfish crackers and little baby puff cereal all over the floor a couple times). It apparently wore her out(not to mention church is during nap time), so when we came home from church, she conked out on the couch within minutes!!

We went to Sheryl's(my sister in law) house for dessert. Gwendolyn decided that she knows how to crawl while she was there. We had a lot of fun with all the family. Lots of arm wrestling and leg wrestling going on between all of them. Erica(my niece) seemed to be the one to beat. Mark almost beat her once, but she decided to cheat that time and use two legs, haha. I thoroughly enjoyed them all entertaining my kids for a while. It was nice not to have to worry.

Well, that is all for now!!

So much has happened!!

First of all, congrats to my beautiful sister in law, Lori! She gave birth to her second baby boy, Sawyer, earlier this month! I have seen pictures and he is adorable! I am working on something for her, and haven't finished it, so that's my excuse for not seeing them yet.

Now our family's big big news!! We had our ultrasound on the 10th of this month. We discovered that not only is this baby healthy, but that it is a GIRL!!! Yay!!! We have decided to name her Rosaline Olivia. Duncan is our family psychic and knew that we were pregnant before we did and also knew that we were having another girl before we did. He came to me a little after Thanksgiving and said, "Mommy, you are going to have a baby for Christmas and it's going to be a girl because Gwendolyn needs a sister!" I told him, "Riiiight! Hahahaha!" Well, the day after Christmas I found out that I was pregnant and here we are having a girl as well. I will no longer doubt him, haha.

Utah weather has been driving me nuts. We have hardly had any good warm days this Spring. It makes me jealous of Colorado. They snow one day, then the next it's all warm and happy out. It is cloudy so much here when it isn't Summer, which does not make for a happy Danielle. I seem to thrive on vitamin D from the sun. Despite the lack of sun, my children still manage to stay happy. They just get cabin fever and trash the house. We thoroughly enjoy the sun when it is here!!

Gwendolyn is mobile!!! Yay!! She doesn't crawl or walk, but she has recently taken up scooting. She isn't very fast, but manages to be in a different spot on the living room floor everytime I look. She doesn't leave the room, which makes keeping her out of stuff very easy. Yesterday she committed her first act of naughtiness during mobility. She opened up the TV cabinet and pulled out a bunch of DVDs. It wasn't much, but we are still proud parents!!
Well, I thought more had happened since I last posted. Hahahaha! Perhaps more exciting news to come!! Oh wait!! We found the camera!! Can you tell?! I still want a new one, one of those fancy ones that records sound with the videos! Haha. Yeah, ours doesn't because it was the model right before the model that records sound with the video. It's sad.

Exciting illnesses, the case of the missing camera, and Gwendie's Birthday...

So, I feel that at our church it should be required for children to not only not come to church when sick, but to sanitize their hands several times throughout the course of the day. It seems that as soon as my children are well enough to go to church, they have come down with something by the time Sunday comes around again. To all you parents who bring their children to church with runny noses, shame on you!! Just because it's not that bad, it doesn't mean that it won't be awful for the next person. I am nearing death at this point. Well, not quite, I am a bit dramatic, but I am very sick. They need to come up with more effective medicine for women to take when they are pregnant. Sudafed and Tylenol just don't do it for me. I love my children, I love the church, but I think the Kleenex Brand company is making too much money off of us.

I know I have promised pictures, but we have an issue with that. Our camera has been missing since Mark came back from California the first time. We have turned our house upside down looking for that dang thing. It's getting old, but that doesn't mean I don't use it. I think the camera is offended that I want to get rid of it soon and is hiding from me. Despite the camera being missing, I will post a few pictures that no one has seen yet. They are all from Christmas time, which was about three months ago, but we will get more recent pictures soon. That is my promise to you.

We celebrated Gwendolyn's first birthday on Sunday. I messed up the cake pretty bad. I was sick and got too busy and forgot to take the cake out of the pan to cool the rest of the way. When I went to take it out of the pan it was all stuck in it and falling apart. But I heated the bottom of the other one and that came out just fine. I will not say more about the disasters that came afterward to this poor, dear cake. It is just too painful for me to bring up again. I hope you will understand, haha. So, we had dinner and then opened presents. WE opened the presents because Gwendie refused to, haha. She liked the presents opened, but didn't like opening them. Then she would be all happy with one thing and we would take it away and hand her another wrapped present, which did not suit her. She was a bit grouchy during the whole thing, but all in all I think she really enjoyed it. I know her brothers enjoy the presents most of all. The "My Little Pony" and "Little People Van" are the current favorites. Gwendie is content with her old toys and the baby doll she received for her birthday. I was really sad about not being able to take pictures of all of this. We will have to stage a re-enactment for sure!!
